Question:
I have had varicose veins for as long as I can remember in the past 10 years the one vein in my right leg has gotten worse. It is bulging coil like and over the past years traveled from my calf to my upper thigh(front) I have been to 2 physicians who both tell me that they are not serious and just continue wearing support hose and elevate. No surprise that these are hmo doctors. In the past months this one vein has stated itching and burning and very hot to touch when the rest of my leg is very cool. It also cramps and when I am sitting it feels like something is peircing into it. Should I be concerned. The pain has really increased and so has the swelling....thanks for your time! Betsy
