Question:
I noticed a small group of spider veins after having my first child. Now, three children later (it's been close to three years since my last pregnancy), I have noticed more of these lovely things, and am experiencing noticeble discomfort, close to pain in this area. Also, this area is warmer to the touch.I am 32 years old, I am no toothpick, but am not signifigantly overweight. I exercise regularly and eat a balanced diet. I'm worried that something may be very wrong, not to mention how uncomfortable I sometimes feel. I can deal with the ugliness of it all, but not the worry. Can you help?

Answer:
Until now this is a cosmetic problem only. But it can mean that in the future you will develop varocose veins. Consider wearing some sort of compression stockings.
