Question:
I had the vein stripped from my lower leg 2 weeks ago under local anesthetic. Fine for first few days, walking no problem, Now swollen, purple toes and extreme shooting pain unless I keep leg raised. I have been prescribed various anti-inflamatory drugs. Is this aññ normal and how long is it likely to go on? I am male, 46 years old and in good health.
