In the news today:New Stent a Leap Forward for Artery Disease Treatment

I have two leads in my left subclavian vein....during the placement of the second lead I developed a blood clot and then eventually the vein became completely occluded. I had an angioplasty of the vein and the doctor put a stent in the vein and did not remove the leads prior to placing stent. I was put on Plavix, Aspirin, and Coumadin, but the vein re-occluded anyway and now I am stuck with a clogged vein with two leads trapped in there with a stent. Every doctor I have been to says there is nothing they can do for me to fix the problem. Has anyone else out there ever had leads trapped in veins by a stent?????
