Has anyone heard about the new surgery for removing varicose veins? It's called Closure. There was a special on Dateline about it a few years ago. The surgery is bout 5 years old now. I had it on my leg last year and it was wonderful! IT was outpatient surgery-local anes.-I was walking around immediatly after surgery-- and shopping at Costco the same night. The fat, nasty, bulgy mess that was on my leg is gone!!! I had my surgery at the Reno Vien Clinic in Reno Nevada, but I know there are many other doctors who are using this new procedure. Plus I have no scars!!!!!!!! The doc inserts a small rod into the veins and uses heat to close it down, then it dissolves into your blood stream. Walla!! It's gone!!! Check out info. about it on the web!!!
