Migratory phlebitis(Please Help)

Heres what happened 2/11/05 Blood draw(lt. arm)2/18 drive from dallas to memphis about 7 hrs.(I get the flu while on this trip)In bed most of trip due to flu. Drive back from Nashville to dallas on 2/21(9hrs). 3 days later my left arm, where i had blood drawn has a hard knot and is swollen and red. Emerg. room says superficial Phlebitis. 2 days later both my inner thighs red, hot swollen and hurt. back to emergency room and im told superficial phlebitis, go to dr. where im told I have migratory phlebitis and there is 20-30 chance it will go to a deep vain. 2 days later my lt. calf is 6 inches bigger and swollen red and I cant walk. back to emergency room-Im admitted in hospital with clot in my deep vein and several in my superficail veins. I am there for 10 days. I am told i have two inherited factors for clotting and am on plavix, coumadin and folate. 2 months ago i did not know what a blood clot was. I am an otherwise other healthy 35 yr old male who had never smoked and rarely drank. I am also told i exhibited classic trousseau syndrome. I still have not been told exactly what made this happen. Any else heard of a situation like this. Thanks for any help.
