meds for life.... protien s.. what????? currently I have just been told that I will be on blood thinner for life due to a low protien s count in my blood.... when I returned from Kuwait 15 months ago I was preparing to rotate back out to saudi with in a month and a half, well in two weeks after being home my left calve started to hurt, then balloned and turned purple... a trip to the doc's office showed the results of a DVT.... not something I would expect from a 23 year old in pretty damn good shape.... over a year later with coumadin treatment.. they found a low protien count...now I'm on meds forever... before this I was gym rat that wouldn't take asprin unless I broke my arm... what should I expect from this... side effects...???
