blood clots..will they reappear
I had severe pain in my left arm which was swollen twice its size. I went to the er and got tested and was told I had a clots under my clavical bone, which was stopping my blood from circulating. I was given a procedure where they insert a cathater under my arm into my chest which has a powerful drug to break away the clot. I was then put in icu, I had to remain as motionlesss as possible. The next day they had to perfrom angioplasty(sp) for something else they found. I have been on coumidin for 2 months now...take it every day and my blood test keep fluctuating up and down.One week my level was 2.0 and the next it was .09. Doctors are puzzled to why this is happening. My dose was doubled and still have the same problem. Has anyone heard anything like this...and what are my options now...Please help!!!
