TIPP Procedure Last Summer I had my varicose veins operated on the "old" way. The results were a painful, lengthy recovery with virtually no improvement in my symptoms. On July 10, 2000 I underwent the TIPP procedure with Dr. Spitz which turned out to be fantastic! Recovery was quick and almost pain-free. (There was soreness in my calf.) But best of all my painful symptoms have disappeared. I will be scheduling the procedure on my left leg soon. Dr. Spitz works miracles!
