Would NOT recommend VNUS Closure I had the Closure vein ablation proceedure for painful varicose leg veins done by a vascular surgeon who has done many. I am greatful he also did phebectomy on my calf veins at the same time, as it is probably the only benefit to me through the whole experience. I got leg clots and had to go on blood thinner after the proceedure, and I also still have blood flow in the vein that was "ablated." As it was certainly not sucessful for me,I would not recommend it to anyone. Return of my varicosities is highly probable I am told.
