Varicose veins
I have had varicose veins for several years now. But, they have gotten progessively worse. The vein behind my knee, or I should say on the side of my leg by my knee, is really hurting me now. When I went to the doctor he told me that they are not bad and the insurance company would not cover the expense to have them fixed. The doctor gave me an estimate of $5,000.00 to get them fixed. I find this hard to believe that when I have a vein that is huring me and bothering me when I sit and drive or sit in a chair, the insurance company can say I can have the surgery or I can not. This is really bothering me and I do not know what to do since I can not afford to pay fot the surgery myself or I would. My legs are only getting worse day by day. I am also on hormone replacement and have been for four years now and I think this is when my legs started to get bad. Any suggestions, I am happy to hear from you.
