non healing wound I have had a Varicose ulcer in my ankle since I was 21. It wasn´t much until 3 years ago. It began to hurt, the pain creased every day and the ulcer became a crater, my complete foot was black and I felt I was in hell. I had an operation to get more blood irrigation from arterosclerosis that started to reverse the problem, but not completely. The wound started to heal, but gradually the recuperation decreased and finally stopped. I´m diabetic,so I´m aware that is more difficult, but I think something can be done.
