Lymphedema I had a modified radical mastectomy, left breast, after being diagnosied with invasive ductal carcinoma grade 1 stage 2-3, ER & PR +, postmenopausal. Treatment was surgery and follow up with Tamoxifen for 5 years. I was diagnosed and treated in 6/7/99. I seem to have lymphedema only on the upper left arm. Some times it's hardly noticable but other times my arm swell so much I can't pull a sleeve over my arm. Is there any treatment for Lymphedema when the symptoms are not constant.
