CVM in the Left Leg

I first had what I call an Episode with CVM when I was 12. The Malformation is very deep within my thigh. Doctors at the time thought it was a muscle pull. It happened suddenly and my leg would swell double the size. I had a second episode when I was in High School and a 3rd and hopefully final episode on Vacation to Puerto Rico to see my Grandmother. After 3 weeks of going back and forth for diagnosis they did a biopsy on what they thought was a tumor. It turned out to be CVM. My left Thigh muscle has always been atrophied compared with my Right Leg. When doing Leg Extension excercises my Right Leg can only push 25 to 30 lbs. before severe pain kicks in. My Right leg is in the Low Hundreds. I run 2 Miles 3 times a week and have always been pretty slow. I think that I am going to have knee trouble because of the lack of extension on the Leg. Memorial Sloan Kettering of NY took care of me and I have not had an episode in 4 years I believe my longest time without. Pain is constant but I notice it is lessened with excersise. Also it hurts less to keep the Leg straight. If anyone else has this please Email me. I am very interested in new cures or comparisons of Doctors analysis.
