AVM (ARTERIO VENOUS MALFORMATION) My son, Adam, has had a very painful AVM on his left foot since birth. It was not properly diagnosed until he was 12, he is now 17. He has been receiving embolizations with ethanol and the pain is gone and the AVM is no longer visible on an MRI. I would happy to share my story with any who might have the same or similar problem.
