My Brain Aneursym
I have had a history of migraine headaches, but when they were severe I knew that they were something more serious. When I finally convinced a doctor was when I was having a seizure, and my husband let them know that the previous night I had went to the ER stating that I was having a stroke. They had treated me for migraine, and sent me home. I don't remember leaving the ER, or anything else until 3 weeks after having had brain surgery. The anuersym was "multi-lobed", which I believe means that I had had multiple bleeds. The nuerosurgeon clipped the artery, although it burst while I was on the operating table. I am alive! I am a survivor, thanks to a very skilled brain surgeon. (Dr.Brian Copeland)
I believe that all doctors should read the survivors postings at http://www.westga.edu/~wmaples. The stories contain frustration because people and doctors do not understand our problems.
