  • Transilluminated Powered Phlebectomy

    Overview
Transilluminated Powered Phlebectomy (TIPP) is a surgical procedure used to remove varicose veins with a minimal number of small incisions and easy recovery.

    Detailed Description
“Transilluminated” refers to the passing of light through the skin, which happens during this procedure. The surgeon views the vein with a transilluminating light and removes it using a small powered surgical device. Normal veins begin to work more effectively after the removal of the diseased veins. This procedure offers good cosmetic results.
